The department provides reinsurance solutions for those involved
in international trade whether they are cargo owners, agents, carriers,
removers or providers of storage facilities. The types of cargo
range from coal to computers and sugar to Satellite, with the extent
of coverage tailored to each client's need. The department, headed
by C Mukwindidza, also handles motor and aviation insurance.
In a nutshell the department underwrites the following classes
of insurance with the following capacities:

Marine cargo - US$12m per any bottom

Marine Hull - US$1m any one hull

Aviation Hull and Liabilities - US$10m
-
Motor Insurance - US$250m any one vehicle
